    Welcome to the Journal of Second Language Teaching and Research (JSLTR). This is an open-access journal which provide a platform both for established and early-career researchers. JSLTR is engaged with building a community of practice (both online and offline) and supports debate and scholarship in second language teaching and research. The journal is published on a rolling basis each year and accepts research papers and forum articles from the fields of English language and modern language teaching. Research papers and forum articles are all subject to peer review before being accepted for inclusion. Contributions for future editions are welcome.

    Intercultural Promenades : Journal of Modern Languages and International Studies is an interdisciplinary, internationally peer-reviewed publication hosted by the School of Language, Literature and International Studies (SoLLIS) at the University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom. Intercultural Promenades is published bi-annually in an open-access electronic format.

  • The Woody Guthrie Annual

       

    The Woody Guthrie Annual is an open-access peer-reviewed journal containing the most up-to-date scholarship on Woody Guthrie, his works and his cultural and political significance. The journal is published once a year between June and December.

    In addition to peer-reviewed scholarly articles, The Woody Guthrie Annual contains book and record reviews, news, and notices of relevant events. The journal is comprehensively indexed and archived in the appropriate online repositories.

    UCLan Journal of Pedagogic Research provides an opportunity to raise the profile of research into your learning and teaching practice and processes.  It aims to enhance the theoretical understanding of teaching and learning at UCLan.

  • The Journal of Political Criminology

      

    The Journal of Political Criminology (JnlPolCrim) is a biannual peer-reviewed journal publishing articles from around the world that address the relationship between crime and politics. Its articles encourage the adoption of fresh perspectives on controversial topics, the identification of new areas for research, and engagement with policy implementation. JnlPolCrim aims to do this by publishing peer-reviewed empirical research, though it will also contain book reviews, review articles, and short commentary sections.

  • Onward

      

    Onward- The Organ of the Band of Hope Union was published by the Lancashire and Cheshire Band of Hope Union, Temperance Society, with the first issue published in 1865.

    The original issue has been digitised and made available by the University of Central Lancashire as an Open Access journal, in the spirit of the original publication established by William Hoyle.
