Author Guidelines

Submissions should be no more than 5,000 words in length, inclusive of references, and an abstract of approximately 250 words. Articles are normally written in English but the journal can also accommodate work written in other languages: prospective authors are encouraged to discuss the proposed language with the Co-Editors in the first instance. In all cases, the Harvard system of referencing should be used. Full details of this referencing system are available at http://www.lib.monash.edu.au/tutorials/citing/harvard.html.

Intercultural Promenades also publishes shorter articles in a Discussion section. These pieces may be more practical in nature and can include teaching tips and research insights in relation to the journal’s Aims and Scope; and new ideas, themes, perspectives or opinions that will be of interest to practitioners and researchers in the field. Submissions to this section should be no more than 2,000 words in length, inclusive of references, styled according to the Harvard system of referencing as detailed above.
